Nimbus Mirror Finish:Polished Brass mounted flush to the ceiling

mounted flush to the ceiling

It is not intended to hold water directly

cast into one slender handle that smothers a candle's flame instead of requiring you to blow it out

developed into its final cast form through the studio's paper-folding studies

with no veneer layer between the visible surface and the wood beneath it

Nimbus Mirror Finish:Polished Brass mounted flush to the ceilingThe Nimbus Mirror reads more like a framed picture than a typical mirror, its glass held inside a halo of solid brass rather than a boxed frame. A ring of exposed brass screws pins the glass directly to that ring, borrowing a framing technique usually reserved for artwork rather than mirrors. Kryer Stter Lassen designed it for Audo Copenhagen, naming it after the nimbus, the halo of light said to surround a deity in Greek mythology.
